New Moon in Aquarius ♒︎

New Moon in Aquarius ♒︎

Happy New Moon in Aquarius! It’s a time of re-alignment, and setting intentions for manifestation!

However, before we start planting seeds of new intentions, we need to pause to release blockages of fears or uncertainty. If there’s no space for what we wish to manifest, because we are holding onto that which does not serve our higher selves, we are blocking our own manifestations.

We are in the reflective shadow phases of Venus Retrograde still, and in Mercury Retrograde’s transit until February 3rd. Many of us may be experiencing a lot of uncertainty, doubt, or feeling overwhelmed when it comes to defining our values, needs, and what we wish to express. This is an ideal time to be still and release, instead of pushing too hard for setting intentions that may not be actual reflections of our highest needs at this time. 🙏🏽

This Aquarius New Moon is here to give us the opportunity to liberate ourselves from our self-imposed restrictions, in order to make the space necessary for that which we wish to align with and manifest. However, the Moon is currently in a strong conjunction with Saturn, and Square to Uranus. Both of which can feel like our hearts and minds have completely different perspectives and needs, causing uncertainty and blockages.

While the Moon is conjunct Saturn, this aspect adds seriousness to your emotions and can lead to distance in your intimate relationships. You may have to deal with some challenging situations and negative attitudes which will feel worse than they actually are. These hindrances and restrictions will apply mainly to your home and family life. Some drama involving your home, parents, children, or partner will be very trying on your emotions and can lead to feelings of rejection and depression.

Self-discipline and emotional maturity are called for, and feelings of guilt about past behaviors need to be overcome. Exposing emotional vulnerabilities and opening up to loved ones will enable the nurturing and closer bonding that is required to overcome the problem.

While the Moon is square Uranus, this aspect can cause rapid mood swings and impulsive reactions. You may feel jumpy and have little patience for anything requiring commitment or focus. It may feel like you need extra stimulation and excitement to escape feelings of restrictions or restlessness, but this is not a good time for making sudden changes, especially in close relationships. New encounters may meet your need for a thrill, but would cause a great deal of upset to your life, and have a negative effect on loved ones or yourself.

This is an essential time to be still, and declutter our minds to find clarity for the directions and guidance we need.

Only through this state of clarity, will we be able to see our situations from a detached and logical perspective, with the fresh innovative energy and eyes of Aquarius focused towards progress and resolution.

Keeping this in mind, it is important to be mindful while setting our new moon intentions, there is likely to be some delays or challenges with them.  This is also largely influenced by the retrograde transits. We are just coming out of - the Venus Retrograde - which is still in it’s shadow phase, and still in the Mercury Retrograde period until February 3rd - so this New Moon is here during a time where we may not be feeling the most clear awareness of ourselves.
