December Forecast

December Forecast

Hello December!

Well, we have reached the last month of the calendar year and it has been a very energetically active year to say the least. As we move forward, take time to reflect on the lessons of 2023 and how much you grew, learned, changed and expanded. As we move towards closing out 2023 and enter some more transformative energies, remember things are happening for you in order for your alignment. This year has seen some of the most transformative energies through Solar winds, CME’s (coronal mass ejections), Solar storms, Schumann Resonance M flare, light energy flooding the planet, planetary alignments, eclipses and so much more. This has been a clearing, not just emotional but also physical, time for all of us whether people are aware of not, it's been happening to every being. The energies around our planet have been high vibrational (aka Love wave/love energy/white light energy/golden waves) which have had us feeling a roller coaster of emotions. Many have moved around in bliss and then feelings of sadness to anger, being easily triggered, physical reactions (flu like symptoms, headaches, skin irritations, issues with our reproductive systems, joint issues, extreme fatigue, eye issues, hair loss and many many more), intense intrusive thoughts and emotions and so much more. We have endured a lot of extremely high influx energies and for all of us it has created an emotional and physical clearing; a spiritual death and rebirth. We have literally birthed a higher version of ourselves (at least the majority of humans have), as every experience, situation, person, place and thing, has come to assist our ascension in order to align with the highest vibration of yourself, your Source self. We have been asked to be present with each moment and let go of the past while consciously creating our future through the work we are doing in every moment. Everything that is not aligned with the high vibration you naturally are, has been uprooted in many different ways in order to be seen, felt, worked through, healed and released. This has not been an easy task to say the least but it has been in order to create space for the life your heart has desired. Change has not been easy by any means but has been necessary and the more we ebb and flow rather than resisting, the easier the bliss energies flow in.

December’s flower is the Narcissus. Narcissus flowers are often linked to themes of rebirth and renewal. In various spiritual traditions, they may symbolize the journey of self-discovery and the transformative power of inner reflection. The Tarot card associated with December is The Hanged Man, representing surrender, letting go, and gaining a new perspective. It's a card that encourages individuals to release old patterns and view situations from a different angle and higher perspective, fostering spiritual growth. December is number 12 in the calendar year and is often associated with completion, harmony, and wholeness. It is considered a powerful and balanced number, representing the culmination of a cycle. While December in the astrological year is 10 and 10 is associated with new beginnings and the start of a new cycle. It signifies the end of one phase and the initiation of another. In Tarot, the 10th card of the Major Arcana is The Wheel of Fortune, emphasizing cycles, change, and destiny.

Mercury will have a retrograde motion from December 13 to January 1, 2024, (beginning in Capricorn and moving to Sagittarius Dec 23rd) leaving us heading into January with some possible chaotic energy, but that is up to you as to how you wish to work with (or against) it. Mercury retrograde Represents communication, intellect, and technology. Retrograde motion is often associated with communication and travel disruptions, misunderstandings, and delays. It is a good time to  review, reflect and reassess things that you have in the works and Intuition will be heightened (see more details on retrogrades in our Sept and Oct blogs). Use December to reflect on everything you have experienced and built in 2023, be grateful for life and love, and prepare yourself for new beginnings and a whole new world. When Mercury goes retrograde, it's often considered a time for reflection, revisiting, and reevaluation and with its Sagittarius energy there may be a spiritual emphasis on reflecting upon personal beliefs and seeking a deeper understanding of wisdom. It's a time to question, reassess, and perhaps refine your spiritual or philosophical perspectives if there are any feelings of doubt or uncertainty. This is also linked to exploration and adventure, including spiritual journeys. Mercury retrograde could bring opportunities to revisit past spiritual experiences, whether through meditation, retreats, or other practices. It's a time to reconsider the paths you've taken on your spiritual journey and perhaps make adjustments to ensure you are fully aligned with the present “you”. There may be communication challenges which may highlight the importance of clear and honest communication, especially in matters of belief and spirituality. Be mindful of how you express your thoughts and ideas to avoid misunderstandings. Sagittarius is associated with intuition and a connection to higher guidance. During Mercury retrograde, there may be an opportunity to deepen your connection with your inner wisdom. Take time for meditation, introspection, and tuning into your spiritual guidance for insights to ensure you are allowing yourself to stand in your full power.

December 12th - New Moon in Sagittarius:

This is an opportune moment to set intentions related to personal growth, learning, and embracing new adventures. The New Moon in Sagittarius heralds a period of fresh beginnings and optimism. With Mercury direct and forming a harmonious sextile with Mars, communication is clear, and decisive action is supported. However, be mindful of a square aspect between Venus and Uranus, suggesting a need for flexibility in relationships and finances. Expansion and Exploration: Sagittarius is known for its adventurous and exploratory nature. A New Moon in Sagittarius may bring opportunities for growth, expansion, and exploring new possibilities in various areas of life. Sagittarius is fiery, optimistic, enthusiastic and always looking towards a brighter future offering this new moon fueled by inspiration, hopefulness, while encouraging us to align with our dreams and aspirations with confidence. Sagittarius is associated with higher learning,  philosophy, and spirituality and during this New Moon, there may be a focus on exploring deeper meaning, seeking spiritual insights, or reflecting on personal beliefs and philosophies that you have delved into over the past year. This is a time of valuing freedom and independence as you may feel a desire for more personal freedom or a reassessment of situations, circumstances, thoughts, emotions, people and experiences that feel constricting. This New Moon can be a time for setting intentions related to learning new skills, expanding knowledge, or embarking on a journey of personal growth and expansion.

December 13th - Geminid Meteor Shower:

As the Geminid Meteor Shower graces the skies, Venus forms a square with Neptune, heightening romantic and creative energies but cautioning against idealizing situations. Meanwhile, Mars sextiles Saturn, providing a balance between assertiveness and disciplined action, facilitating productivity. The Geminid Meteor Shower, which typically occurs annually in mid-December, is a celestial event where numerous meteors radiate from the constellation Gemini. From a spiritual perspective, interpretations of celestial events like meteor showers often vary among individuals and cultures. Here are a few ways people might view the Geminid. This Meteor Shower has significant spiritual relevance in renewal and transformation especially as meteor showers are often associated with celestial events that bring a sense of wonder and awe and bring in a blissful energy of magick. Spiritually, some individuals may interpret meteor showers as a symbol of renewal and transformation, signifying the cyclical nature of life and the potential for personal growth which connects us more deeply to Sagittarius season. This can evoke a sense of connection to the vastness of the universe helping you to feel aligned and connected to the wholeness of the Universe. This event can be seen as an opportunity to connect more deeply with cosmic energies, fostering a sense of unity and interconnectedness with the cosmos, bringing in a sense of the vibration of love as we gain more understanding that we are all  one. The symbolism of Shooting Stars in various cultures, (shooting stars or meteors) are often seen as symbols of wishes, hope, and guidance. Some people may choose to make wishes or set positive intentions during a meteor shower, believing that the energy of the falling stars can help manifest those desires, but we must remember that manifesting is about becoming the vibrational match to what you desire. In certain spiritual beliefs, celestial events are considered messages from the universe or divine forces. Some individuals may look to the Geminid Meteor Shower as a sign or symbol, seeking guidance or insights from the cosmic energies it represents.

December 21st - Sun Enters Capricorn:

As the Sun enters Capricorn, the energy shifts toward groundedness, discipline, and practicality. It's an excellent period for setting long-term goals, especially those related to career and achievements. As the Sun enters Capricorn, the month's astrological landscape is marked by Jupiter and Neptune in a square aspect, urging caution in financial matters and a need for discernment in setting expansive goals. This is a time to balance ambition with practicality. December 21st marks the Winter Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere and the Summer Solstice in the Southern Hemisphere. Astrologically, this date also marks the Sun's entry into the zodiac sign of Capricorn. Capricorn Traits ruled by Saturn, the planet of discipline, responsibility, and structure. Capricorn season is often seen as a time for reflection and goal setting, aligning with the energy of the New Year that follows shortly after. People may be inclined to assess their achievements, set new objectives, and focus on building a solid foundation for the future and allowing new beginnings.

This is also the time of the Winter Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere, the shortest day and longest night of the year. The Sun's entry into Capricorn is closely tied to this astronomical event. Symbolically, the Winter Solstice represents a turning point where days start getting longer, symbolizing hope and the return of light. The Winter Solstice holds spiritual significance in various cultures and traditions around the world. Winter Solstice signifies rebirth and renewal and a time of darkness and stillness. Many spiritual traditions view the Solstice as a point of rebirth, where the return of the sun's light represents the potential for renewal, transformation, and the birth of new beginnings. While the contrast between light and darkness during the Solstice has deep spiritual symbolism,  It's a time when the forces of light begin to overcome the darkness, and this transition is often seen as a metaphor for the triumph of good over evil, knowledge over ignorance, or the inner journey from darkness to enlightenment. The Winter Solstice is closely tied to the natural rhythms of the Earth and many spiritual practices emphasize the importance of aligning with nature's cycles as being a time for individuals to connect with the Earth, appreciate the changing seasons, and acknowledge their own connection to the larger web of life. Various cultures have developed ceremonies and rituals to mark the Winter Solstice. These may include lighting candles, bonfires, or performing symbolic acts to honor the changing seasons and invite positive energies for the coming year. Such rituals can be deeply spiritual and foster a sense of community and connection. It is the perfect time for inner reflection, meditation and gratitude for all that has passed and what we have learned. Many spiritual practices encourage mindfulness and self-discovery during this period.

This can cause disruption in relationships and may bring unexpected events or disruptions. This could manifest as sudden changes in romantic partnerships, friendships, or other connections. From a spiritual perspective, these disruptions may prompt individuals to examine their attachments, patterns, and if the relationship in question is healthy and supportive. Uranus is often associated with individuality and authenticity while the opposition to Venus may bring awareness to the need for personal freedom and authenticity in relationships through transparency and honesty. It can be a time of self-discovery and embracing one's true self, even if it means making challenging choices in the realm of love and connection. Venus opposite Uranus can also stimulate creativity and innovation, especially in artistic and aesthetic pursuits and may encourage individuals to break free from traditional norms and explore new, avant-garde forms of expression. This can be a spiritually enriching process of self-discovery and liberation. Uranus is associated with change, and the opposition to Venus may signify a need to embrace change, especially in matters of the heart and values. This aspect can be a call to release attachments to the familiar and be open to new possibilities, fostering personal growth and spiritual evolution. Oppositions in astrology often call for finding balance between opposing forces. In the case of Venus opposite Uranus, balancing the desire for stability and security (Venus) with the need for freedom and individuality (Uranus) becomes crucial. This balance can lead to greater harmony in relationships with self and others and personal well-being.

Check out our blogs and EBooks for more information on a number of topics. As we have been challenged and can feel a rollercoaster of emotions it's important to take care of your overall well-being and have your healing tools in place.

*It's extremely important to use your healthy toolbox in order to prepare for the days you feel the blahs. What do you enjoy doing? Have a mental (or journal or schedule), plan for the times you feel the ick sneaking in. Generally I teach my clients about ways to plan and what they can put in their proverbial bunker in support of self empowerment.

Listed below are a few tools:

  • Call on your circle of trust (those 1 to 3 people who you truly trust) The ones you know who understand you and who have the ability to help lift your spirits or simply listen without judgment. We must remember we cannot help others by suffering with them. If you are feeling the blues and start talking about all the things you view as “bad/wrong” in your life, your circle will be the ones to point out the “good/positive” in your life. To hold space for you to communicate, release and give you the space to express what you are feeling. The ones who will hold the optimism rather than jump on the misery train with you. Sometimes it's a simple I love you and you're not alone or a swift kick in the ass to let them know they are wallowing. But at the end of the day it's all based on trust and a healthy relationship with your circle, give and take and authenticity. Who is your circle of trust?
  • Have a playlist of your favorite uplifting music/movies/shows, a list of your favorite uplifting books, new healthy recipes you want to try, things you've been waiting to try ie: skating, making snow angels, volunteering at a shelter or nursing home, even being neighborly and shoveling someones' driveway. If you are crafty or would like to be, try creating some artwork , whether it's painting, drawing, poetry, journaling, a book of memoirs, what ever you feel drawn to. There are many ways in which we can make positive uplifting choices with an added benefit of possibly helping others if we are so inclined to do so. What are some of your favorite uplifting songs, activities, books, movies?
  • Create a video journal while you are in good spirits. Talk to yourself like you would a friend, even record it with a friend. Remind yourself of your strengths, all you have to be grateful for, the things you admire most about yourself, be your own cheerleader, guru and express how proud you are of yourself.  There is a drastic unequivocal difference between being cocky/arrogant and confident/self aware, so it is important to understand your feeling and expressing to yourself you are friggin amazing is self love.
  • What self love/self care actions do you take for yourself? Remember self love/self care is anything from a shower meditation to going for a massage, to mirror work, to reading a book, using things you may be waiting to use for a special occasion. There are a plethora of ways to incorporate self love/self care in your life and it's important to know what that looks like for you. It can be simple or extravagant, whatever feels good to you.
  • Take your vitamins. Vitamin D, Magnesium, Zinc,, vitamin B3 (niacin), vitamin C to help your body. Eating a balanced diet is always best and you can add fruits and herbs to your water to help as well. Moderate exercise, walking, stretching, Tai Chi, yoga, breathing exercises, anything that includes movement is an extremely healthy addition to your day. What can you add to your day to help your body?

Everything I need comes to me easily and effortlessly.

Patience brings me into recognition of and alignment to my highest purpose.

All my needs are met even though I may not see them in the outer world I open my heart in receiving.

*Remember everything we do is about intention so be mindful of what you are using your energy for (directing your energy towards), when working with the moon energies. Full moons are wonderful to celebrate and reflect on how far you have come, releasing all that no longer serves you, understanding what lies beneath emotions/feelings/actions, seeing from a higher perspective and practicing gratitude.

It's important to remember we feel the Moon's energy 3 days before and 3 days after the celestial event takes place (both of Full and New Moons).

You can charge and clear your stones under this full moon by placing them outside or on a windowsill in the light of the moon. You can also make moon water with both the full and new moon energies. Simply place a glass container of water (spring water or even lake water are best), in a place where the light of the moon will shine on the container (as temperatures are cold be careful as glass will break, can place out for a couple of hours before midnight or leave in a windowsill inside overnight). You can use colored glass for an extra umph if you want to use the water for specific things. I make moon water when I am working with certain chakras ie: orange glass for sacral. If you are using spring water or distilled water you can drink it or add it to your bathwater for a spiritual bath. I have used a blue glass container when working with my throat chakra to support speaking my truth and drink a shot of it each morning. You can use moon water in anointing candles, empowering crystal energy, place on an altar, spritz your face with some to help clarity, drip a few drops in your palms when using mudras, drip a few drops on your crown chakra or 3d eye for a deeper meditation, get creative and use it for whatever you feel beneficial.

**It's not advised to make moon water or charge crystal under certain full moons ie: when there is an eclipse

Please remember to set yourself up for success and use your healthy tools to help keep you balanced and aligned. We all have our ups and downs but the more we prepare and have a game plan in order to work with the down days, the more we empower ourselves for our highest good.

We are still in deep ascension energies which play a huge role in how we are feeling and how we work with the energies at hand. There are extremely high frequency energies coming in daily which are felt within and all around us. For more information and all you need to know about the Ascension and what it all means check out our Ascension eBook.
