On Friday March 18th, 2022 we will experience the Worm Moon. It is called this because Earthworms begin to appear as the soil warms & softens, giving us our first sign of Spring. This Full Moon is just before the spring equinox and in the healing sign of Virgo. As full moons mark the end of cycles, this month's full moon will assist with communication in relationships and assist you in voicing your truth in a compassionate way. As Virgo is governed by Mercury, which is the planet of communication and interpretation, it affords us to embrace the flow and synergy of body, mind and soul, embracing balance while processing necessary information that is being brought forward from our higher selves.
Virgo full moon offers an opportunity to dig in and understand your feelings and gain a deeper perspective of self. Deepen your relationship with yourself from a higher perspective and reflect on your feelings and emotions. Virgo is the healer of the zodiac signs and will allow you to heal and clear emotions, encouraging you to deepen your relationship with your human self, while gaining clarity in your connection to your higher self.
This full moon is just before the spring equinox on March 20th, adding a boost of power for new beginnings after we get in touch with our emotions and allow ourselves to release what no longer serves us. Energetic shifts that have been in play for the past few weeks are pushing out old energy hence why it has felt overwhelming for many. Distractions from our external world coming forth to force us to go within and seek the answers we have been searching for rather than giving power to old energy. Things being revealed in many ways leading up to this full moon in Virgo will point us in the direction of inner work, healing and being open to receiving what is for our highest good. Surrendering to the ebb and flow of experiences is vital, this is not a time for struggle but a time for breathing and releasing. Not allowing fear, negativity and the need to know what is next, is not meant to keep you in the dark as is a key to your awakening and trusting not only in the Divine but in yourself. Our connection to the higher knowledge available to us comes through these shifts and when we allow it, will lead us to align with our highest good.
This full moon in Virgo is the perfect time to align with what is for your highest good and trusting the process of allowing old energy to be released. This transference from old energy (3D) to embracing the new energy (5D) is leading you to a place of intrinsic power and home to self. The chaotic energy of the external world and the distractions that come forward are meant to give you the proverbial push towards you coming home to yourself and choosing you. The feelings and emotions we have all been experiencing have felt overwhelming and have brought forth old stagnant energy but this is all par for the course. The lower vibrations of self (lower parts of ego, shadow, inner child), need to be released through Source love and freed from our current vibration. Virgo is the sixth sign in the zodiac and as this year is also a 6, it is in divine alignment with our highest good.
Utilize this energy to rearrange any frantic, chaotic energy into balance, understanding and healing. It's time to give yourself the energy of inner stillness, calmness, self-love and self-care in order to prepare for the alignment with your true heart's desires.
